The Contreras Foundation was initiated in 1984.

The Contreras Family Scholarship Foundation will grant scholarships in the sum of $1,000.00 each to graduating high school students. Our Foundation’s main objective continues as we provide a one-time award offering education assistance to graduating Seniors.
Applicants will be considered with attention given to GPA, teacher and/or counselor recommendation, and a written essay. Each applicant must demonstrate a high degree of motivation and the desire to achieve their academic goals. Please note the qualifications shown in the guidelines.
We will not accept any application with a GPA lower than 2.5 and the student’s financial need is of great importance to our Foundation.
Attached are the Guidelines and Application to download and submit. Completed packets to be delivered via email or physically mailed to the addresses listed below no later than Friday, April 15, 2022. The recipient names will be presented at our Board Meeting scheduled in April. All applications will be reviewed and chosen by the Contreras Scholarship Committee.
